Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project In Charge (PIC) to oversee and manage air conditioning installation on-site. The ideal candidate will ensure the successful execution of the project, maintaining high-quality standards, managing resources, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. This role requires hands-on leadership, effective communication, and the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Lead and supervise the air conditioning installation and maintenance projects on-site, ensuring all tasks are completed according to project specifications, deadlines, and within budget.

• Team Management: Direct and manage the project team, including technicians, laborers, and subcontractors. Ensure efficient resource allocation and that all personnel are performing their tasks according to safety guidelines and company standards.

• Site Coordination: Coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders, including the client, vendors, subcontractors, and project managers, to ensure the timely and successful completion of the project.

• Quality Control: Monitor the progress of installations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards. Conduct inspections to verify that all works meet required codes and regulations.

• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety practices on-site, ensuring that all workers adhere to safety protocols. Report any incidents or near misses and proactively mitigate risks.

• Procurement and Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement and delivery of necessary materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring the availability of all resources for uninterrupted project progress.

• Project Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly reports on the status of the project, including progress, challenges, and work completed. Provide updates to senior management regarding project timelines and any issues that may arise.

Qualifications

☑️ At least 1 year of experience in HVAC systems, specifically with refrigerant piping, split-type systems, and VRF AC systems.

☑️ Extensive exposure to high-rise building construction

☑️ Proven experience in leading and managing large numbers of workers on construction sites

☑️ Strong knowledge of refrigerant piping, split-type systems, and VRF AC systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

☑️ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes, ensuring compliance with both industry standards and internal specifications for construction and HVAC projects. The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with the project team to guarantee that all materials and installations meet the highest quality standards 

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance (QA):

• Develop Quality Plans & Procedures: Create and implement comprehensive quality plans and procedures for production or development processes to ensure consistent product quality and regulatory compliance.

• Documentation: Review, create, and maintain quality documentation, including test plans, procedures, inspection reports, and checklists, ensuring all documentation is accurate, clear, and in line with project requirements.

• Compliance & Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.), client specifications, and regulatory requirements by monitoring project activities and ensuring all quality measures are adhered to.

• Audits & Reviews: Conduct audits and process reviews to assess compliance with both internal quality systems and external standards. Prepare audit reports and communicate findings with stakeholders.

• Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for improvement, proposing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensuring they are implemented to resolve quality issues and enhance processes.

Quality Control (QC):

• Inspections & Testing: Perform regular inspections and testing on products or services during production to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.

• Non-Conformance Monitoring: Monitor and measure product quality during production, identifying any defects or non-conformances. Record and report findings to the production team for corrective actions.

• Collaboration with Production Teams: Work closely with production teams to ensure that issues are resolved swiftly, collaborating on solutions to eliminate defects and improve product quality.

• Quality Control Techniques: Implement quality control techniques such as statistical process control (SPC), visual inspections, and testing methodologies to monitor product quality and identify potential areas of concern.

• Calibration & Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and tools to ensure that inspections and tests are accurate, precise, and reliable.

Qualifications

The Safety Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing safety policies and procedures, conducting safety audits, inspections, and training, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive in identifying potential hazards, and committed to maintaining high safety standards on-site. 

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance (QA):

• Safety Policy Development & Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures for the organization or specific project sites to ensure compliance with national and local safety regulations.

• Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues. Prepare inspection reports and recommend corrective actions when necessary.

• Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Perform risk assessments to identify safety hazards on the job site. Propose and implement preventive measures to mitigate risks and enhance workplace safety.

• Safety Training: Organize and conduct regular safety training sessions for employees and subcontractors. Ensure workers are properly trained in safety procedures and emergency response protocols.

• Incident Investigation & Reporting: Investigate accidents, injuries, and near misses on-site to determine causes. Prepare detailed incident reports and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all safety practices comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, local regulations, and company safety policies.

• Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans and ensure that all workers are aware of and trained in emergency procedures, including fire drills and evacuation plans.

• Safety Equipment & PPE: Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety tools for all workers. Verify that safety equipment is regularly maintained and compliant with safety regulations.

• Safety Reporting: Maintain safety records, including reports on safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and accident reports. Provide regular updates on safety performance to senior management.

• Promote Safety Culture: Foster a culture of safety within the workforce by leading by example and encouraging employees to prioritize safety at all times. Assist in maintaining a positive and open line of communication regarding safety concerns.

Qualifications

☑️ Must be a certified Safety Officer (SO2 or SO3 preferred).

☑️ BOSH/COSH certification required.

☑️ At least 1 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.

☑️ Knowledge of DOLE, OSH and other Philippine safety regulations.

☑️ Ability to conduct safety training and risk assessments effectively
